Fan Terms of Service

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use The Scene for your own personal listening and discovery.

• No Commercial Broadcasting: The Service is strictly for consumer use. You may not broadcast, publicly perform, or play The Scene in a commercial or public establishment (e.g., coffee shops, bars, restaurants, retail stores, gyms).
• Venue Liability & Indemnification: If you choose to ignore this rule and broadcast the Service in a commercial space, you are solely responsible for securing all required public performance licenses (e.g., ASCAP, BMI, SESAC). Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Scene LLC and CSCD LLC from any fines, legal fees, or lawsuits brought by third-party rights organizations resulting from your unauthorized commercial broadcast.
• No Ripping or AI Scraping: You may not download, rip, screen-record, or use automated bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract audio data, metadata, or code from our platform to train outside AI models or for any other purpose.

The Scene uses advanced artificial intelligence to help you discover music. When you type a search prompt (e.g., "Build me a late-night rainy jazz playlist"), you agree that we will process that text through our enterprise AI partners to query our database.

The Scene is about human connection through music. Hate speech, harassment, bullying, and toxic rhetoric are strictly prohibited.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure. If you choose to financially support an artist, buy merchandise, or subscribe, payments are processed securely through our third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).

You can delete your Fan account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Scene LLC, its parent company CSCD LLC, and our partners are not liable for any lost data, app downtime, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
